Welcome to our blog! We are using this online media to reflect on our urban farming attempts as well as invite others into this adventure. We are a family (and extended friends) living on 1/3 acre just outside Philadelphia, in Elkins Park,Pa. We moved here in 2014 and inherited a wonderland of edible landscaping. We hope to sustain what has been lovingly nurtured on our land before us as well as adapt this small piece of heaven to fit us. We have two small children, 2 and 5, and many of our adventures will be captured through their eyes. Our goals in farming are: reducing our carbon footprint, learning the science of farming, marveling at the beauty of nature as God's creation, and eating/sharing delicious food.
